General Pressure/Volume Control
GCTS offers advanced solutions for pressure control in triaxial tests.
The ePVC Series Standalone Pressure/Volume Controllers provide independent control of hydraulic pressure or flow, requiring only standard 100‐240 VAC power. These electromechanical controllers handle ultra-high pressures up to 1 GPa (150,000 psi) and feature closed-loop servo control for precise volume measurement, avoiding gear backlash errors. The ePVC includes PC and mobile interface programs (iOS, Android, Windows) for remote operation and can link multiple units via CATS software for synchronized control in triaxial, permeability, and other testing applications. Models are upgradable for continuous flow, ensuring no pressure spikes.
The HPVC Hydraulic Pressure/Volume Controllers are ideal for managing confining, head, and fluid pressures in triaxial, permeability, and hydro-fracture tests. When paired with a GCTS digital servo controller, these units enable advanced testing, including stress/strain path control. They come with a large reservoir, indicators, gauges, and valves, all housed within a mobile metal cabinet. Dual piston intensifier models are available for continuous flow applications.
