Digital Servo Control
GCTS is known around the world for our advanced testing systems, and at the heart of every system is one of our Direct Digital Servo Controllers. The controllers provide the closed-loop feedback control required of complex testing procedures, allowing each output channel (axial load, confining pressure, etc.) to be controlled by any measured or calculated parameter. In addition, they also provide the signal conditioning and data acquisition for all the system sensors in a single, compact unit. Combined with the CATS Software package, these SCON units offer a complete solution for system control.While the SCON units are designed to control GCTS systems, we also have extensive experience upgrading older testing systems with new electronics. This comes from either replacing an old control unit or completely upgrading a manually operated testing system with new sensors, servos, controller, and software.
