Enhanced Rock Mechanics Research at Rice University

We have completed an upgrade to the RTR-2000 Rapid Triaxial Rock testing system at Rice University. With the addition of the ePVC-210L standalone electromechanical pressure/volume controller, the university’s research team now has advanced capabilities for rock mechanics testing. This powerful controller delivers 30,000 PSI (210 MPa) of pore pressure control and supports permeability testing, offering precise control and data acquisition for highly accurate results. This enhancement is set to significantly boost research in rock mechanics at Rice, facilitating deeper insights into material behavior under extreme conditions.
